What is an EDI 867 Product Transfer and Resale Report?

The EDI 867: Product Transfer and Resale Report provides product information on a product that has been transferred to a new location that resides within a company. An EDI 867 can also report the sales of a product from many different locations to a customer. 

How is an EDI 867 Product Transfer and Resale Report used?

The EDI 867: Product Transfer and Resale Report can be sent by either the buyer or seller when information on product transfers is desired by the other trading partner. After receiving an EDI 867, an EDI 997 (Functional Acknowledgement) is sent back from the receiver to indicate that the EDI 867 was successfully received.
